Katia Labreque

Katia Labrecque joined the ORR Builders team in February of 2023 as a Project Coordinator Assistant. Despite her limited experience in the construction industry, her proactivity and fervent pursuit of knowledge facilitated rapid skill development. Katia exhibits unwavering dedication to her pursuits, consistently striving to attain her objectives and advance continually. Her role as Project Coordinators is vital throughout the entirety of the project process (Site and on-line Meeting Minutes/Agendas, RFIs, Submittals, Subcontracts, NTPs, Plan submittals, Change Orders, Punch lists, Daily Reports, Project Schedules, and accessing City Portals) as well as assisting the Project Managers, Project Superintendents, Architects, Subcontractors, and clients.

Katia graduated from the University of Queretaro in 2019 with a degree in International Business and Commerce. One of the most remarkable achievements in her career was graduating from high school at Mexico's Navy. During her time in the Navy, she honed important skills such as respect, integrity, and a strong ethical commitment to her duties.

Upon reaching the midpoint of her career, she opted to embark on a professional journey at Volkswagen Mexico. Her decision stemmed from the belief that augmenting one's professional experience significantly contributes to enhanced recognition within the industry. She worked at the company for 6 years, and was promoted several times to different positions. She started as a Financial Analyst, then moved on to Accounts Receivable, Fixed Costs Controller, and Purchasing Junior Analyst. During her two last positions, Volkswagen introduced a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to which she dedicated herself and honed her IT skills. Subsequently, Katia was offered a position as an SAP Testing Analyst by TATA Consultancy Services, an Indian company. She accepted the offer, recognizing the opportunity to expand her expertise in a different field further. She was employed at the company for nearly a year before relocating to a different country to further her personal and professional development. This decision marked the commencement of her new professional journey with ORR Builders.

Katia was born in Mexico. She moved to Palm Desert, CA, in 2022. Katia loves doing calisthenics and spending time with her friends and family in her free time. She also enjoys cooking, doing crafts, and traveling.
