The La Quinta Kidney Center is a 7,847 sq. ft. chronic dialysis Clinic equipped to treat 1,200 patients. The Center is located at the corner of Washington & Fred Waring in the La Quinta Business Center.

Orr Builders began tenant improvements June of 2010 and completed the project mid August 2010. The Center is complete with a State of the Art Osmosis Water Treatment system, twenty-four dialysis stations, two isolation rooms to treat twenty-six patients at one time, exam and training rooms, labs, and offices for dietary specialists and social works. The Center is handicap accessible and will be open to the public in mid September.

There are two types of Dialysis, Peritoneal and Hemodialysis. These are ways of cleaning wastes and extra fluid from the blood when the kidneys fail to do this on their own. The La Quinta Kidney Center is well equipped to care and treat patients in need of dialysis with both types of equipment.
